2022.01.21 13:47 HandoftheDiligent Losing Hundreds Per Day
Sold my car to have investing money.
Been using my wife’s car for everything for months. Bought the dip as recommended by Justin and other gurus. Now it keeps dipping and the gurus are saying “told you so.”
Should I sell and buy back in a few months when the correction is ACTUALLY over?

2022.01.21 13:47 Ztgutz Help me find incredibly danceable old-school R&B and Hip Hop
Songs like "Pony" by Ginuwine and "Are You That Somebody" by Aaliyah are perfect examples of what I'm looking for. Doesn't have to be old school or even R&B or hip hop just needs a to have sick beat. I listen to literally all kinds of music. So if you're not sure if I'll like certain songs reply with them anyways! thanks y'all

2022.01.21 13:47 PsychologicalDot9297 I know what I have to do but I don't feel like I have the strength or willpower to do it.
It's been about 3 years now and I am still struggling with pmo. I know I don't want to do it but I always get this feeling inside like I just have too. I'm not looking for any remorse I just know that this must stop. I don't want to continue on like this.

2022.01.21 13:47 CourageousElriix IT Stewardship at your company
I just joined a new company and found out during my first team meeting that my teammates and I are all assigned randomly to present a 'teachable moment' to each other each week during said meeting. Something like 5-10 minutes that can include pictures, videos, etc. This is unheard of but... I am a shy IT guy that hasn't presented since college (12 years ago??). I'm not looking forward to it!
I want to do my first one on IT employee stewardship. Examples like being a stickler when you see someone hasn't locked their PC. Or deeper things like you see an admin updating their password directly in AD so they bypass password history. Stewardship can be a lot of things!!
What does IT stewardship mean to you? Is it important to you? What are examples of stewardship that you've been through or seen?

2022.01.21 13:47 RDFD42613 Returning After a Year-long Hiatus...
I used to ride the bike frequently when my parents ordered one just before the pandemic (brilliant timing on their part!). I recently moved out and my fiance and I decided to finally get one. Excited to be back in action after well over a year.
For anyone who has been through a similar situation, do you have any advice for any new programs or classes that helped you get back into the swing of things?

America's 1% Has Taken $50 Trillion From the Bottom 90% | Time
And That's Made the U.S. Less Secure
Like many of the virus’s hardest hit victims, the United States went into the COVID-19 pandemic wracked by preexisting conditions. A fraying public health infrastructure, inadequate medical supplies, an employer-based health insurance system perversely unsuited to the moment—these and other afflictions are surely contributing to the death toll. But in addressing the causes and consequences of this pandemic—and its cruelly uneven impact—the elephant in the room is extreme income inequality.
How big is this elephant? A staggering $50 trillion. That is how much the upward redistribution of income has cost American workers over the past several decades. .... Around 1975, the extraordinary era of broadly shared prosperity came to an end. Since then, the wealthiest Americans, particularly those in the top 1 percent and 0.1 percent, have managed to capture an ever-larger share of our nation’s economic growth—in fact, almost all of it—their real incomes skyrocketing as the vast majority of Americans saw little if any gains. ... Had the more equitable income distributions of the three decades following World War II (1945 through 1974) merely held steady, the aggregate annual income of Americans earning below the 90th percentile would have been $2.5 trillion higher in the year 2018 alone. That is an amount equal to nearly 12 percent of GDP—enough to more than double median income—enough to pay every single working American in the bottom nine deciles an additional $1,144 a month. Every month. Every single year.
